About the Province of Apayao
Apayao is one of the six provinces of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). It's capital town is Kabugao. Apayao and Kalinga used to be a single provice named Kalinga-Apayao. The two regions were split into two provinces in 1995. Apayao is composed of seven towns/municipalities. These are Calanasan, Conner, Flora, Kabugao, Luna, Pudtol, and Santa Marcela.
