About the Province of Batanes

Batanes is a collective group of islands that comprise a province in the Philippines. It's the northernmost province in the country. The capital is located in Basco. It's also the smallest province when it comes to land area and overall population. The province is composed of six small municipalities. These are Uyugan, Sabtang, Mahatao, Ivana, Itbayat, and Basco. The province is a popular tourist destination in the country.
