The BGH visiting hours haven't changed much throughout the years. The Baguio General Hospital (now also referred to as the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center) allows visitors to see patients both in the morning and afternoon following fixed visiting schedules. In the morning, visiting hours are from 11 am to 1 pm unless the schedule has been changed.
In the afternoon, visiting hours are from 3 pm to 7 pm. As you can see, it's much better to visit patients at the BGH hospital in the afternoon because you will have more time to spend quality time with whoever you are visiting.
How to Get to the Baguio General Hospital
If you have your own car, you can use it to drive over to the hospital. Don't worry about parking problems because the hospital has a wide and long parking lot. This is not to mention the parking space available at the basement of the hospital. If you don't know where BGH is, just ask around. Everybody who has been in Baguio for a while know where the medical center is located.
You can also take a taxi of you don't have your own car. Just tell the driver to take you to BGH. You have to specify though that you want to go to the Baguio General Hospital. This is because it so happens that there's another hospital called BGH nearby, the Benguet General Hospital. This institution is located in the nearby Benguet town of La Trinidad.
Taxi fare to BGH won't cost you above Php50 provided that you board a taxi within the central business district, i.e. Session Road, Burnham Park, and SM Shopping Mall.
You can also take a jeepney. Go to the jeepney station near the overpass at the foot of Session Road. The station is beside the Ganza restaurant. Just look for the jeepneys that have BGH written in their route signs. Fare is the minimum of Php8.50.
The Baguio General Hospital is not really far from the central business district so you can actually walk the distance. From Session Road, the walk will take about 15 to 30 minutes depending on how fast you walk. Just ask people around for directions on how to get there.
We repeat, the Baguio General Hospital (BGH) visiting hours are 11 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 7 pm. To get there, you can either use your own car, take a cab or taxi, take a jeepney or you can just walk all the way there.
