I tried to withdraw and transfer some of my PayPal funds into my Visa credit card when I received the following notification: "For security reasons, we need a bit more time to review this transaction. I've been an active user of PayPal for over five (5) years now and this is the very first time that this ever happened to me.

Of course, it had me worried because I'm a freelance writer and online worker. Most of my clients pay me through PayPal. If I have problems in withdrawing my money from PayPal, then I'm in big trouble. I've been withdrawing my PayPal funds into the same Visa credit card account for several years and I've never encountered any problems. As I said, this is the very first time that this happened.

All I can do right now is hope that nothing is wrong. The notification says that PayPal needs more tome to review the transaction I just entered (withdrawal). That's cool with me. The review can take up to 24 hours. That's cool with me as well because I'm in no hurry. They say that it's for security reasons. I understand that.

Last but not the least, they said they will send me an email as soon as they have an update about the issue. Well, let's see about that. I'm curious what this notification is all about. I'm hoping that this is just a routine security measure and that it wasn't specifically sent to me because of an issue with my account.

[Update]: Yes, the amount I withdraw from my PayPal account to my card went through but it took them more than 24 hours. It's good that I got my money but I think that the 24-hour period they promised was misleading. So if you ever receive the notification discussed above, know that clearance for your withdrawal may take more than the promised 24 hours.

How To Withdraw Funds From PayPal To Your UnionBank EON Visa Debit Card
