Aklan Provincial Hymn Song and March Lyrics

These are the lyrics for the provincial hymn and march of the province of Aklan in the Philippines. Both of these hymns were composed by Dr. Jesse M. Gomez. Among Akean was declared as the official provincial hymn through provincial ordinance no. 2010-005. Both the hymn and the march are written and sung in the Aklanon language.

Among Akean [English: Our Aklan] (Hymn)

Ikaw, Akean, among ginapalangga
Sa tagipusuon, una ikaw makita
Bisan man siin kami nga tanan maadto
Ro among isip ag handum una kimo.

O, among Akean! O, among Akean!
Among pagabantayan ring kamaeayran
Ro pageaum pati man ro kalipayan
Daea nimo, daea nimo kamon tanan!

Ikaw, Akean, probinsya nga manggaran
May dagat ka, may bukid pa ag kapatagan
May ati ka, bantog sa kalibutan
Ag kulturang ginapabugae, eabi sa tanan.

O, among Akean! O, among Akean!
Among pagabantayan ring kamaeayran
Ro Dios naton, Imaw ro nagagiya
Akean, probinsiya nga mauswag, mabuhay ka!

Ro Dios naton, Imaw ro nagagiya
Akean, probinsiya nga mauswag, mabuhay ka

Hala Bira, Akean (March)
